Not as large as most of you guys - but in tournaments of similar size I will go far, and online I go out middle stages when I get it in ahead. I wish I had Hold 'Em Manager or something so I could analyse it - but I've come nowhere near winning one since I won one over a year ago, and I don't know what I'm doing so awfully wrong really. Maybe its just variance.

I doubt any of us (Myself included) have a significant enough sample size of the 4.40's to make a real judgement on our profitability in them I've only played 200 odd which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

What do people think about betting small to induce bluffs in aggressive opponents? I just won a huge pot doing it:
PokerStars Game #51667389899: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25 USD) - 2010/10/25 23:22:51 WET [2010/10/25 18:22:51 ET]

Uncalled bet ($14.57) returned to sunybli
*** SHOW DOWN ***
sunybli: shows [Qd Ah] (two pair, Queens and Sixes)
RichardNova: shows [Ad Ks] (two pair, Kings and Sixes)
RichardNova collected $88.48 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $90.48 | Rake $2
Board [Qh 6c Kc 2d 6d]
Seat 1: sunybli showed [Qd Ah] and lost with two pair, Queens and Sixes
Seat 2: RichardNova (button) showed [Ad Ks] and won ($88.48) with two pair, Kings and Sixes
Seat 3: Murphy_Lee_L (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 4: aknowl (big blind) folded before Flop

EDIT - Holy crap I'm at a table now with $121 at a 25NL

He probably isn't bluffing though. He probably thinks he might have value?

On the whole I bet small to control the pot and that's pretty much it. I'd rather check raise than bet call.

Surely he's turning his hand into a bluff though? As in he's only getting called by better?

Either way, strange shove. Seemed clever by me when I thought of it but when I look back I probably should have just value bet. Either way I had an $190 session, which was nice.

You playing those more regularly now DML? There's a guide in the first post that helped me a bit so it's worth a look if you are.

(Nearly the end of the month, I hope you guys are ready for that most illusive of things....A good month at cash games from me! :o )

Anybody who plays tournament poker as a pro has to be wrong in the head. Sick of these damn coolers, I'm giving them a break.
