Do you play online Phatman?

Yeh, I do. So far, only on Full Tilt, as all my mates play there too. I'm thinking of starting a bankroll, as I've steadily improved my skills. I've only being playing properly for about a year, so my game is constantly evolving, but I'm at a stage now where I expect to see profit more often than not. Generally, I deposit $24 online (enough for two entries into $11+1 27 man tournaments) and try to finish in the cash, upping my balance to around $100, at which point I sit down at a $0.50/$1 ring game table and try to at least double my money before withdrawal. It's a tactic that's been working for me, but I'm now at the stage where really I should be able to create a large roll.

I play in a local poker league as well and play at the casino infrequently (was back tonight though - finished £20 down from my stack, but thanks to a profit-share scheme I had with two mates, I'm up £50).

Check out the fulltiltacademy. They have some good bankroll management challenges. Not only do you learn from the pro's but you also get points which can be exchanged for step tickets.

It's helped me a lot over the past couple of weeks.

Santa series on ipoker. Tomorrow night £10+1 with £1k added + santa bounty of £100. Good value IMO. (Plus in £££ so full of Will Donkers)

This is every Monday (and every day actually but with less money added) and it's 8pm. Other good tournaments on iPoker around this time include the 8:30 $10 rebuy and the 9:10 $5 rebuy.

Which tournaments are you winning tonight?

Currently sitting on a stationary train at Coventry station waiting to go home. Been here for 90 minutes.

Did you donk out of those MTTs as soon as I left yesterday?

Typical for you, another bad beat from a station.

I finished in 21st from 360-odd in the $5 $1k GTD on iPoker for basically nothing. Played very well but just got completely card dead at the end. Meh.

Just listening to this week's Final Table podcast, and according to Antonio Esfandiari, Ivey, Dwan and Antonius will not be on the next season of High Stakes Poker because PokerStars bought the rights to it and Full Tilt didn't want their guys appearing on the show.

This is gay. There aren't any independent poker shows left then which just means we won't get to see any cross site TV cash games. I think this therefore means that the 48h Full Tilt Cash game (which was in London) is the best cash game left. Hopefully they'll improve Late Night Poker.

I can confirm that this seems to be true.

Yeah saw it on 2+2 a few days back. IMO the Full Tilt Cash game Ecno referenced is the best poker program available anyway.

I don't even know what channel the Big Games on.

Those of you who haven't seen the FTM$ Cash Game watch it here. The worlds best players just playing poker for lots of money, no gimmicks, no idiot screaming like someones stamping on his foot everytime there's a big hand (There's one guy who does this who means if I want to watch the Poker Million I need to mute the tv, whoever he is.), just good poker.

£375 up over the past three days thanks to a combination of cash games in person, online SNGs and online cash games. I'm running well and making some excellent calls. Watch it all come crashing down over the next week...
