Sunday Million tonight has $8M guarantee with $1M for 1st place.

I just played three micro stakes satellites ($0.80, $1.60, and $2) and won two seats!

So regards Friday.

Gaz and DD, what time are you arriving? I'll be arriving at the station at about 6pm, if I can give you a more precise time I'll let you know.

I'd like to do two tournaments with one evening left for some home game action which DML’s proposed schedule accommodates. The only snag I have is that two tournaments that were mentioned seem relatively fast-paced; can we find one elsewhere with like 25-30 minute blinds?

I'll be driving down and don't have work so any time is good for me. Definitely will be there before 6pm so can meet you at the station.

Trying to get a schedule together tonight. Looks like Saturday will be the home game night, its real slim pickings overall sadly. Still waiting for a poker club to get back to me.

I've checked with Grosvenors and they have no Saturday tournament, so looks like we'll make that night the home game night. I'd also be up for a longer paced game but not sure if any at Grosvenors would be suitable, as the deep stack game on a Friday is £80+£8 buy in.

Anyone got any other suggestions for the rest of the weekend? Not sure what you guys want to get up to during the daytime.

It's a £40 freezeout, no idea what the blind structure's like though.

Ok - so the schedule is thus.

Friday
Everyone arrives at 6pm
Go eat
Go play a tournament at either the Phoenix (£5 block rebuy) or Grosvenor (£80 freezeout)

Saturday
No games on at decent venues (none at Grosvenor, only a Vegas last chance satelite at the Phoenix)
Therefore Saturday is HOME GAME DAY.
I propose we either make this an EPIC SERIES of games with a decent buy in (ala Premier League of Poker) or
we do a mix of home games, board games and OFC - although I still propose that if we do a hiome game, it should have a decent buy-in (ie, not a fiver) as the games over the rest of the weekend may not be as big as usual.

We can have drinks/eat out whatever. PPM will be at football this day during the afternoon.

Sunday
Propose people come over and hang out - then we head out for a game - either the £16 Phoenix game (normally about 50 runners) or the £40 game at the Grosvenor) depensing on what people prefer.

Monday
People go home - I go to work a millionaire.

EDIT - I'd like opinions on what people want to do on Saturday - taking into account on Sunday there will likely be a fair amount of time for OFC/board games. If we do a series, I propose a one off buy in for all the 'events' - but I'm more than happy to do a combo instead.

That all sounds good to me. I think the £80 one on Friday is a little steep but if everyone else wants to play it then I'm game. I'd also like to do the 16s game at The Phoenix but that might mean not going to Grosvenors at all, so it's really up to you guys. Saturday eve for poker home games and Sunday daytime for board games etc sounds like a plan as well.

This please. I definitely want to give some of your board games a try and play some other variants of poker. Phoenix on the Friday and then out with a bang at the Grosvenor on Sunday.

On Saturday we could run through a bunch of sit and go style games for different styles of poker, i.e. PLO, Stud, 2-7 etc with some OFC in the evening. Board games on Sunday.

Really looking forward to this now.

I came up for an idea for a poker tournament where any 2 dealt on the board halves the pot, and any Ace dealt on the board doubles it...
