Kind of wish Nintendo would start doing or licensing out PC ports, there's literally nothing like a Pokemon game available for the PC that has the simplicity of the earlier games (turn based fights), there's a couple of similar games (TemTem and Re:Legend) but both seem to be going for an open world MMO type affair which totally puts me off.

There's Monster Crown on Steam which seems to be a very deliberate take on old Pokémon. I love the look of the game but haven't played it myself.

Can’t see it anywhere official, would be something to announce via direct of some sort anyway.

Pretty sure Jezo's just memeing based on earlier comments.

It'd be fun to see it being real, though.

Can't wait for the Pokemon app that teaches me how to diet and tie my shoe laces, who cares about game we need more pointless apps with a Pokemon skin

Seriously speaking I should think we'll get a remake of Diamond Pearl, though I'd like to have a new Pokemon Ranger game.

I'd like to think they'll release Gameboy/GBC as part of Switch Online and launch it with the Gen 1 and 2 Pokémon games included.

I think Snap 2 is a definite, I'm feeling an easter release? Either way I'm buzzin for it!

The fact that people have been begging for Gen 4 remakes for a while, and the fact its the next in line for a remake, would make sense they announce them for a November release?

I would like to think we'll get special giveaways every month, and they be mythicals not currently available in Sword and Shield.

Also the TCG is getting a really awesome looking set in February! There's loads of shinies and Vmax cards included!

A nice little video to kick off the celebrations in style, along with the first of the announcements. There's some sort of party going on, with the biggest names of music being invited. Katy Perry being the first to be revealed. The 25th website is now live, even if quite bare at the minute. I'd wager the true celebrations will begin late February, considering the journey through the regions that's mentioned on the site doesn't start until March.

Can’t wait :toot:

Hoping for some good stuff with it being 25 years, plus I need to add to my national dex on Home so any free handouts would be appreciated

Main star of the celebrations will be whatever game is announced for the end of the year, feels like Diamond/Pearl remake is the most likely, even with small omissions like the DPP fossils being missing from the Crown Tundra DLC. I’m really hoping this is the year they start adding older games onto the eShop so they have full integration with Home and any post game/event Pokémon could just be added to Home automatically once you’ve purchased said game (I’m looking at you Darkrai!), I just can’t see why they’ve not put the original versions of games onto the eShop, surely it’s very easy money as they probably wouldn’t take much to port and would easily sell enough to recoup the cost of porting them over.

I’d be delighted with a Let’s Go version of Gen 2, really enjoyed Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee :)
