Edit, both redeemed. I’m still a little disappointed they’ve not done another legendary/mythical giveaway with it being the 25th anniversary of the series, still 10 Pokémon to go for a living dex, hopefully I’ll get to finished one day.

I have a second set of codes by using my work email, but not sure if I can use them. I have a second Switch profile that I was using to get a Kubfu (for the living Dex as my main Sword and Shield ones were evolved in the two Urshifu types), as well as collecting Dynamax Legends so my main profile is free to shiny hunt them, but to claim a Mystery Gift it wants me to link that 2nd account to a Nintendo account. Can I do that without causing issues? I'm not really that bothered about getting extra shiny Zacian and Zamazenta but just thought I'd give it a go.

I’d say just try putting them into your main saves, it might give you them again as it’s a different code or it might say already claimed, do you have to have your second account linked to a Nintendo account to access the mystery gift function? I’ve never used any codes on my second Switch user so not sure if you can or not.

I used townemail.addresses too, so got two sets of codes.

Got my Shiny Zacian on my Shield, but when I went to put the other spare Zacian code in, it wouldn't let me get it as it said the gift has already been claimed. Two different codes as well.

Shame, as I was going to give my two Sword codes to a mate to get a shiny Zamazenta too.

Maybe it .eans you have already claimed a Zaxian and can't claim 2?

Yeah that's what I meant. I can't get a second one as a spare.to trade for a Zamazenta.

God trying to work out how to get pokemon from previous gen games in this requires a flowchart. Most depressingly I can't work out what game I left my prized Starmie, Heracross and Gliscor in. The only three pokemon I ever bothered IV training and getting good natures for.

How far back were you going? The DS stuff could be a nightmare. Pretty sure at least one of them needs you to have seen every Pokemon in the game before it opens up the transfer functionality. So I don't want to wipe my saves on those games, but they're all way too expensive now to go buying additional copies of for a quick play through.

At least it’s a relatively painless process getting them from the 3DS games, it’s a bit of a nightmare getting them from the DS games now, think you’ve got to put them in HGSS, then into BW2 and then into the Poké transporter in BW2 before getting them from the transporter in Bank or something? So you’d probably need a couple of 3DS consoles to start with :lol:

GBA/DS transfer is a mess, thankfully I think I did that fully when Pokemon X came out. I'm somewhat tempted to buy a cheap copy of Platinum off Ebay having said that because I've never played it but they're probably all pirate copies.

Looks like the cheapest which might not be pirated is around £16 including delivery for a pre-owned cart only.

That is a lot less than I thought.

Also, just seen online that the Crown Tundra dex and Isle of Armor dex contain Pokemon already available in the Galar dex... so what's the point of that then? :fp:
