Any Shield owners want to do some fossil trading?

Think the Fish and Drake are exclusive to Shield. Even if you were to create the 'mon in question you'd still need the Sword exclusives to create more than one... or do to have both copies?

theyre not actually exclusive theyre just easier to get between versions, youd need a lot of patience though

My daughter's been playing this on her own user account since she got it for Christmas (most games just get played under mine) and I hadn't realised that she hadn't been able to use any of the online features as I hadn't set up a family group.

Done now and she had a great time tonight doing some of the Dynamax battles ("Someone's joined!") and Surprise Trades...got Scorbunny on her first time which went down very well.

Based on that, she's decided she's going to try and complete her Pokedex too, brilliant to see her enjoying it even more after opening the online side up. Oh, and the DLC will be a must, can't wait to see what they do with it.

well all four fossils are available in both version it just that two are easier to get in each version, drake and fish for shield the other two for sword. as you get them through random means, like the digging brothers, you need to do it over and over again before you find them, took me forever.

This is great - thank you! I had a frankly obscene amount of Watts available as I'd not really used any during the game, so just spent a fair amount on the Skill Digging Brother and gotten the fossils I need.

So I take back any complaints I've previously ever made about my luck in this game.

Unlocked the Judge stats function, learnt that much of my team are poor, now trying to hatch and build a new, stronger team.

I've picked my six and have been trying to hatch eggs to get good stats, when outta nowhere, this happens.

Perfect IVs and a shiny? Gotta be incredibly lucky for that to ever happen.

Yeah it's stats are good but not great - but I'm going to use it anyway

Besides, you can just toss it a load of candies to boost it straight to Lv100 and then use any bottle caps you have.

Although doing that six times for shinies would be a tall order.

And that would mean it misses out on EV boosts too - right?

I'm pretty sure EV boosts can still be got using vitmins, and with how easy it is to get money in the game, it shouldn't be much of a problem to get the number you need.

Yeah my current thinking is to obtain the six I want with best stats I can possibly obtain, and with the optimal natures, then overload them with the vitamins for the stat areas I want to focus on. Then I can just level them up and as you say, Hyper Train those that don't start out at Best.

And then you'll have that ace competitive team.
