yeah it does become quite annoying towards the end

I imagine it does a little, I wonder if it does the same if you do them with the AI? If you only get new ones with AI I might have to revert to that once I’ve got all the sword ones (even if just to discover the Pokémon before venturing back online).

I think there are better odds on your own

Sadly I only had exclusives left

Currently up to 21 legendary Pokémon caught, only got 2 of the Sword exclusive ones left as well but will probably continue with the online players as I have said, the AI is just terrible in the Dynamax adventures as well as the max raids. If they’re going to keep the Dynamax stuf around for a bit I really hope they’ll massively improve the AI.

Edit, just the one Sword exclusive to go now, got a load luckier than I thought I would, just need Xerneas. Obviously still loads more to catch still but I’m enjoying effectively grinding for the legendary Pokémon a lot more than I thought I would be, thought it’d be a bit of a chore but so far so good.

Edit, just seen that you can trade 5 pieces of ore to Peoria/Nia to get the location of a Pokémon marked/saved for a Dynamax adventure. Could be helpful towards the end?

I think it’s a few more now :lol:

That figure is just from the Dynamax Adventure too, obviously quite a few in the rest of the DLC too.

Kanto starters in F;
Everything else wherever.

(Nah not really, but as someone who likes to think he judges each starter on its merits, to see them same three monsters topping the list every time is a bit galling.)

Are they ranked on a competitive basis or looks? I find they fit into 3 categories for me, great, good or woeful :lol:

Ranked on whether I would die for them, or gladly let them die for me.

:lol: Post of the year!

My main problem with ‘ranking the starters’ is do I base it on first stage, or final stage, or the entire tree? Litten is cute but Incineroar is bobbins; I don’t care much for Oshawott but Dewott is one of the few decent middle stages.

(Rowlet/Dartrix/Decidueye would come top regardless, mind.)

I was thinking of mentioning it in the general Pokémon chat (if its the Diamond and Pearl one you’re referring to?) but considering the past remakes we’ve had its just following its natural course is it not? Then it’ll be black and white or 2. I’d actually say gen 6 onwards don’t really need remakes, just release them on the eshop (as they should be doing with every game/gen from the series, or at least it’s ‘best’ version so even people late to the games can have a good chance of getting nearly a complete living national dex in home) with them up-scaled, having watched videos on YouTube of gen 6 and 7 simply upscaled they still look really good and after all the advanced models they used for those gens were meant to be future proof......
