I've not played a Pokemon game since the original GB game (red supremacy! :datass:

) but I am very tempted to jump back in to the franchise.

Well, that confirms that this gen is going to be the stop-gap until the world gets fully realised in gen9. That wild space is definitely leaning towards that.

Also - bikes are back! As is a water-bike. HMs are not a thing in these games either, and that's a good thing to see.

The leak may be legit bit knowing there were two legendary wolves is hardly inside info given they were on the bloody game logos.

As for Dynamic, yeah it seems a bit gimmicky. It feels like for the past few generations they've tried to add some things to the battle system - Triple/Rotation Battles, Mega Evolutions, Z Moves - but none have really had any staying power. Can't see that changing. Still, I don't mind if they stick a gimmick in each gen and then it disappears, but they haven't really innovated on the battle system for a while. Admittedly they did pretty much perfect it years ago.

well i loved it, all the new pokemon look great cant wait to catch them, rival looks to be a fun one and the professor looks like she'll bee a massive improvement over the last one and im loving the corviknight taxi for some reason

though dynamax looks cool but it feels kind of unnecessary and im not liking that fact that you have to dress up in that outfit for gym battles

Well predicting they would be revealed today is clearly on the money. They were just detailing what we’d see in the Direct. They must have seen the video early somehow because they got everything spot on.

The art style is pretty great, some of the towns in particular looked lovely.

Unfortunately, it also looked pretty rough at times. Typical Gamefreak really.
