I’m not going to be able to watch this live... I wonder if that’s a good thing? TPC seem to delight in spoiling every inch of their games prior to release.

I wonder what music we'll hear during the trailer. Are we going to get more than one? Or are some people right in thinking that the Switch Mini will get a reveal here?

Pokemon Stadium 3 and Pinball 3, that's all I want from the conference >,>

15 mins for SwSh is pretty juicy too. Hope we get more light shed on Galar in general. Give us a reason to be excited about exploring a new region.

I’m going to say we’ll definitely see the cover legendary Pokémon and the 2nd evolution of the starters (maybe the third as well), maybe the team we will be battling throughout the game and then another general trailer showing off some more new Pokémon who we’ll get more info on afterwards and at E3.

Pokemon TCG but in the same style as the Gameboy Color one. That game was amazing and was almost like a regular Pokemon game just with card battles.

100% this. It would be incredible for the physical game too, which currently is pretty difficult to learn as a newer player. The existing TCG Online PC/Mac programme is crap. They'd ideally need to update it with the new releases every three months to keep it relevant, though.

Thinking of playing one of he 3DS games before this comes out, which is the best to play? Ultra Moon/Sun?

I really liked Black/White. No old Pokemon showing up until post-game felt like a pretty big deal.

Black/White (And Black/White 2) are the only games in the series that just never clicked with me for some reason. I can't really pin down why though.

Ultra Sun/Moon because they're the newest. Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire because I'm biased and I say they're the best. XY would be the weakest of choices.

Yeah, if he hasn't played the DS games too, I'd go for Black and White. It was basically a sort of soft reboot back to the original Red/Blue, with 150 new Pokémon and nothing else. Go in blind and it's quite interesting seeing only new monsters, not knowing their types or weakness, having a sense of discovery etc.

It's also not ridiculously easy either, which the 3DS games tend to be guilty of. If you have to get a 3DS one, get Ultra Moon as they are the most up to date. It's pointless getting the original Sun/Moon as apparently their sequels retread a lot of stuff.

I wasn't a massive fan of X and Y. Not a bad game but pretty similar to the newer ones, so you might as well get them.

It's one of my favourites for this very reason. Plus the garbage Pokémon is awesome, strawberry float the haters.

If you only want to play the one 3DS game Fade I’d probably recommend any of Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Sun/Moon or Ultra Sun/Moon. If you opt for one of the latest 4 games you really only need to play either SM or USUM as they do feel very similar when playing through them.

I adored XY, but couldn't get into Sun/Moon.

Also am I right in thinking there are Pokémon you just can't get in Ultra Sun or moon? If so that's a bit rubbish.

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire is the best 3DS one. They took a somewhat meh Pokémon area and made it about 10 times better. Plus it has a gooseberry fool ton of legendaries you catch at the end of it.

I haven't got to the end of it yet, but I think Ultra Sin and Moon have quite a lot of past legendaries you can catch too.

Does the Ruby and Sapphire remakes have any of the newer Pokémon in it or was all just as it was in the third gen? I can't remember. They were good remakes though, but if you've played the games on the GBA I'd recommend something entirely new.
