Got lucky while putting more of my living dex together, random shiny Sigilyph!

Up to number 300, that’ll do for tonight.

Just about polished off my living dex in Shield, a couple more to evolve then I just need to transfer over Type Null and Zacian from Sword then I’m all done :toot:

Still had no luck whatsoever with finding any Bellsprout in Go though :( so I’ll ask cheekily again, anyone who has Let’s Go Eevee fancy trading a couple of Bellsprout with me so I can get that living dex polished off as well? Would be much appreciated :)

Finally got around to playing this. Last played Silver. The game doesn’t seem to have changed too much. The first hour so far has been what feels like a big tutorial. Wish I could of skipped it

Are you wanting a living dex? Or just the data so the first evolution would suffice? New Horizons is (naturally) taking most of my gaming time but I imagine at some point over the next few days I can see what I’ve got and try to rustle some of the missing ones. Will trade my Zamazenta but only if I get it straight back!

First evo would be perfect! And yes for sure, happy to swap straight back.

Sound, probably won’t be today but I’ll have a look what I’ve got you can have and then try to get a few of the ones I might be missing myself, don’t need a Ponyta?

Wow, so I just tried to use GTS to get an Alohan Nintales with snow warning.

Holy strawberry float, how bad is that app?!

You can't specify different versions of Pokemon nor can you specify what ability you want, why?! It makes no sense

Does anyone please have one they could trade with me or know somewhere I could sort out a trade?

Have you had chance to start it yet? If so how are you finding it?

I’ve not used the GTS on home yet, for (now) a paid function its incredibly limiting (although it always has been, just when it was in the game you couldn’t grumble much about not being to select forms, abilities etc) in what you can search for from what I can tell.

I've re-started this again and I've beaten the first gym. It's pretty great so far and apparently my squad is almost full of older Pokémons from the previous generation except my grass starter.

When I next go through this (it’ll be Sword, Shield will be staying completed) I’ll probably do a single Pokémon run, thinking with a Polteageist as that was one of my favourite newcomers and not vastly op like Dragapult.

Got this with my Switch last month and finished it earlier today. Unusually, virtually all my team that I finished with were caught in the early hours of the game. (Rillaboom, Boltund, Coalossol, Corviknight, Drednaw and Orbeetle FWIW.)

I thought the designs of the new mon's overall is of a very high standard and was the main reason I enjoyed the game, which seemed to fall off a cliff in the second half. The "plot" in particular felt like they'd forgotten about it until the very last moment, such was it's non-existence and the failure to put anything of note between several of the latter gyms was disappointing. I don't think the sacrifices made by dropping a number of pokemon paid off overall.

Still, any game with Boltund in it can't be that bad.

It didn't bother me so much at the time, but in retrospect the "story" was indeed very weak even for a Pokemon game.

I also think raid battles were ultimately really disappointing, even if they were extremely cool the first few times.

Loved the design of the world and the new Pokemon though.

Agreed with pretty much all of that. Strong new 'Mon, some good mechanics and some iffy ones, really weak main campaign, Boltund is Best Boy.
