Oh also, something that really bugs me in this game, when you search for a battle online, it searches for about 2 minutes, says it can't find anyone and then stops automatically.

I'm just trying to imagine who the heck thought that would be a good idea. It just compounds the problem of finding a battle. I cannot for the life of me think of another game that does this or what the reason would be.

Nah they have all their stupid tiers and gooseberry fool. I have fun beating 'meta' (lazy) teams with my own team.

Plus if people don't play on the actual cart they have far less incentive to fix the online and I wont earn any in game items.

Double post but I’ve just been on and caught Far’fetched with a leek so can trade it to you when it’s good for you, not sure if I have you as a friend but my code is SW-5204-3145-1536.

Finally started Pokemon Shield last night, only played a couple of hours and just reached the city after the wild area.

Apart from Let's Go Pikachu, the last Pokemon game I had played was Platinium. This new entry blew me away at first, to see the world of Pokemon look so vivid, seeing things in the distance and going into the shops and seeing the designs, the series has came a long way from what I last played of it.

Will carry on with it more tonight but I love what I have seen so far. I went with Grooky as my starter but I want to get the other 2 so i'm hoping the chance to get to the trade part is coming up soon.

You should already have it if you have the Y-Comm. I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to trade over the other two starters for anything.

Or just try the surprise (think it’s surprise in this one) trade, I got both the other starters quite easily this way.

Is Y-Comm the phone device you start with? I've not seen Y-Comm mentioned in game yet

It will be cool to see the DLC, I bought the expansion pass so i'll hoping to finish the main game before the first part releases then I can focus on that and post game content.

Yeah you can press Y at any point (post getting the Poke Dex) and then make sure to press + to connect to the internet, if you don’t you’ll just be searching locally.

Still on the fence a bit about the DLC, so whatever comes tomorrow should sway me depending on what they reveal.

First expansion doesn't entice me as much either. Might just wait till the second one is out.

Can anyone help me get a Scorbunny and Sobble around level 15 at all? I don’t have much I can trade as I am early game in shield but all the trades on Pokemon Home seem to be asking for legendary Pokemon in return
