Can’t wait for the Grimer and Machoke-infested area based on Peterborough.

Yeah they touched upon that as a potential setting in the Gamexplain video, the rumoured names (anyone have any idea where these rumours have come from though? First I’ve heard of them in the video) would kind of fit in with the rumoured setting, hopefully Aegislash makes an appearance if true.

UK would suck if there's an area meant to b Wales. Mareep everywhere and nothing else.

If they can make the setting more interesting and unique then I'm all for it but otherwise, I'm personally not that thrilled that it could be set in the UK of all places >,>

It feels like an inevitability that they will eventually set a game in the Poké-UK, whether it's this gen or a gen that follows. I'm sure it will be very south centric -- they'll obviously do Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Oxford Street, and probably Stonehenge, and also maybe a mish-mash of Oxford and Cambridge. I'm sure they'll have an identifiably Scottish zone as well, and I could see them putting in a kind of 100-years-ago heyday Blackpool area to represent the north.

The risk is that it turns out pretty similar to Kalos in overall art direction, with just slightly different stereotypes in the NPC dialogue or whatever. To make it stylistically different enough they'll need to really double down on a kind of neo-Victorian aesthetic and I think that could be kind of cool.

Pokémon Leave and Pokémon Remain.

It'll be version-exclusives as usual, with Pokémon Leave having no Dark types and relying on trading with others to get what they're missing (they won't).

Scotland would probably be the snowy area and Stonehenge would be a nailed on area for the main legendaries.

I think they could do a decent job of doing a Pokémon game in the UK, could have at least one city/town based on a city in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland as well as some popular landmarks (catching Lapras at Loch Ness for example) to visit along your way.

Shame ONM isn’t around to take the mess out of Hull in their previews/reviews
