That's why it feels so familiar! I knew there was something about it, but I couldn't put it into words!

Not sure if it’s been stated in here but this will be playable at E3 so we should get plenty of feedback next week.

Will get plenty of Treehouse time too I imagine.

They'd want to show off the Wild Area, definitely. I assume there'd also be a starting game segment beforehand, which means two segments are likely to happen. I don't think there'd be any more than that. Not if there's a load of games needing focus.

I just want to see the second stage starter evolutions, hopefully they’ll have their final typing by the second stage (or be quite clear which direction they’re heading in), other than that I just want early game content and then ideally nothing after E3 till reviews start to come out in November. They really did spoil too much with Sun/Moon and I don’t want a repeat (or to the same extent at least).

People have noted that a Scorbunny in the trailer knew Double Kick, which... isn't a good sign...

The saving grace could be that Grookey seems well-suited to become a fighting type too. Grass-Fighting would be a completely new type, right? As would Water/Ghost I think, which is what most people predict Sobble to be.

What would complete a Ghost-Fighting triangle? Psychic? Though I guess we had Fire/Psychic in X and Y.

No, Chesnaught was Grass/Fighting back in X/Y. Chespin just randomly became it though (well I didn't think he'd become grass/Fighting type anyway) while for Grookey it'd make sense based on what we've seen so far.

Scorbunny better get a good final evolution because it's easily the best starter digimon in sword/shield

If it doesn't get jeans and machine guns for hands, I'm gonna be furious.

I'm most curious as to where Sobble's evo line could go. Saw a "leak" that had a cool concept for it which I now hope is true. Haven't picked water starter since Totodile so I'm hyped.

Based on a leak that got everything in the direct right, the starters will turn into the following:

Scorbunny have fighting moves, but will be pure fire. It's second form is called Raboot. It's final form will look like a fighter and will also look humanoid.

Sobble becomes Sizzile and then Intelleon, a chameleon with a spy theme.

Grookey will end up as a giant gorilla that beats a wooden drum to attack.

Oh lord, it just makes sense the more you think about it. Sobble could end up being one of the coolest starters yet >,>
