Given what has been left out from previous generations, I can see a lot of people being extremely pissed off.

Ugh well I caved and had a look at the new and apparently confirmed returning Pokémon and honestly on the whole I’m actually rather liking the look of a lot of the new Pokémon and not to unhappy with the Pokémon who’ve not made the cut, sure I’d have liked the whole lot to be there but I can’t really complain, obviously some others will hate that one of their favourite Pokémon hasn’t made the cut but everyone will differently on this. Feel really hyped still considering I’ve just seen all what they’ve made for Sword and Shield, what do we think the deal is with the cover legendary Pokémon? They get their respective sword and shield as part of the story or are they just different forms (hope for the former personally)?

Looks like a lot of the ones who they’ve cut are the legendary and starter Pokémon? Weirdly enough Mew seems to have made the cut though so might we finally be able to catch one in game?

They've already announced that you can get it from the Poke Ball Plus.

Even though there are a load of Pokemon that aren't catchable in the game, we can't rule out the possibility of being able to transfer these ones over when Pokemon Home is launched. Until somebody actually datamines the game, the full amount available won't be known.

Even though I’ve got a Poke’ ball plus it’s still annoying there’s not actually a normal event in game to catch a Mew for the people who rightly don’t want to pay £40 odd for a limited controller just to get a Mew. Are we thinking this is just the Galar regional dex then? Presume there’ll be a bigger dex once you’ve beaten the game as has happened in other games so maybe more will have made the cut then looks of it currently, time will tell.

Anyone complaining that's not enough is being unreasonable IMO.

I'm 99% sure this information comes from a datamine. Anything not on the list can't be had in the game, either captured or transferred.
