But that will still only result in getting the same 'mon as in the nursery. I was planning to do a complicated cross-breeding system to pass it from Lombre to Sobble to Eevee to any other 'mon in a complex pass the parcel until I had a team all within Moon Balls.

That doesn't work, so now I'm shiny breeding Sobble using the French one I got through Surprise Trade. And dumping all of them through Surprise Trade every time I have a box-full, which has worked to get quite a few new additions to my dex.

With enough Poke-incest you can presumably get a Moon Mon in the same egg group as any male Moon Mon you catch, although it sounds quite high-effort?

But only the female can pass the ball down, unless there's no female in the nursery to do so, in which case anything but Ditto can pass a ball down.

Ahh, I see, the male Pokemon only passes the ball down with Ditto, otherwise it has to be the female?

It does sound impossible then.

Indeed. And Moon Ball Team sounded great as well, even if it makes little difference.

Shiney Sobble? If you breed a shiny you get more shiney?

Has anyone seen the animatio for the darkest lariat move? It's amazing

After some experimentation I found Bronzong fit the last spot on my team really well.

I think he's talking about the 'Masuda Method' of breeding pokemon, where if you breed two pokemon of differing countries they are more likely to produce a shiny.

Exactly what I meant. I highly doubt anyone would be silly enough to Surprise Trade a shiny away, unless it was some popular streamer doing a stunt.

Anyone done any shiny hunting yet? I think most shinies look quite ugly but I might go after a shiny Bronzong as it looks quite nice, just so I can say I have one.

Never legit caught a shiny in a main series game.

I am on the lookout for a Chipped Pot. I can only find Cracked ones. :(

Did you not get the chipped pot in that desert town on the roof?

Or was that also cracked. I had both the chipped and cracked pot at the same time.

I thought that was a cracked pot? Do they do the same job anyway? Not actually found more than one either.

There is a one in ten chance a particular Sinistea needs a Chipped rather than a Cracked Pot. The only way to get the Chipped Pot is through the seller at the market, at random. I've checked probably 8 times now and he hadn't had it! :(

Finished the story now so I guess there's no rush but it'd be nice to evolve my Sinistea eventually.

The chipped pot is for the authentic sinistea.

Well, it's not a spare chipped pot, but, as I'm not hunting sinistea for a authentic one you can have my chipped pot.
