This. I ended up using a master ball on it.

you go back to the dojo and have one last fight with the master

Oh really? At the moment he is just sitting in the living room of the dojo saying that I need to do something else but it doesn’t say what?

have you done the quest for the dynamax honey?

Oh no, I haven’t seen anything about that pop up.....do I need to do something to trigger it?

Q: As the legendary G1 birds are now in TCT can you import the original versions from Let's Go?

This trying to catch the legendaries is really grating on me now, just got the Giants to try and catch but I have no Pokemon that can put them to sleep and I keep chucking Pokeballs at them but to no avail.

I'd brag about how you should get on my level, but I don't think that'd be all that helpful, so I'll just say to keep at it and you'll eventually nab them - even in regular Pokéballs.

False swipe and thunder wave are both TMs.

Teach them to a couple of Pokémon you have, paralyse the 'mon, swap Pokémon, use false swipe until it's on 1hp.

Throw balls at it after that and you'll have it caught in 5 mins max if you're using ultra balls or better :)

I have Ultra Balls, can I go and buy those TM’s?

False swipe can be bought from the west pokecenter in Motostoke

Thunder Wave requires you to do one rotom rally in the wild area (if you're not sure how just do a quick Google)

But also quite a few Pokémon learn thunder eave, you might already have one: https://www.serebii.net/attackdex-swsh/ ... wave.shtml

But also, the little electric dog you can catch on route 1 learns nuzzle, which is literally a better version of thunder wave :)

I have a level 15 Zapdos knocking around so now might be a good time to crack in with my second playthrough.

Finally just getting round to starting this tonight!

Made a few changes to my team, taking a couple of low levelled Pokémon with me alongside 3 of my main stays throughout the main game and Isle of Armor DLC. One of them being a (most likely hacked) shiny Eevee that’ll be evolving into an Umbreon (shiny Umbreon looks even better than standard Umbreon!) that I got from a wonder trade a while back, I think its hacked as it has Poké rus virus and was holding a master ball

Just done my first dynamax adventure and faced a Suicune at the end of it, do you always get a legendary Pokémon at the end of them? I didn’t catch it as it wiped my party out but I know you can only catch each of them once for some reason.

Yeah, there's always a Legendary at the end of them. Happy catching.

Nice, is it every single legendary or what? Any version exclusive ones? Last time I googled for an answer it wasn’t exactly clear. First impressions of the Crown Tundra are good though, environment seems really nice although I’m still at the very early stages of it.

Basically all of them apart from mythicals (so no mew, celebi ect)

Sword has the Red/Gold/Ruby etc legendaries and Shield has the Blue etc legendaries.

Although if you play with online matchmaking you can still easily run into the other version exclusives as it usually someone else hosting, for example I found Groudon and Ho-oh playing online despite owning Shield.

Only problem with playing online is you're also more likely to get duplicates (which you can't catch) where as playing offline with NPCs seems to always give you a new Pokémon at the end.

Still not a bad haul of legendary Pokémon you can get then, I’ll probably stick to single player till I’m getting duplicates and then try my hand at the online matchmaking, hopefully it’s a bit quicker than in the base game...... I’m fully expecting it not to be though!

Cheers for that advice as well, presume that’ll be once the main story part of the dlc is done with?
