As a result I answered "Neutral" to a few more questions than I would have liked so my figures are probably more central than they otherwise would have been!

Agreed! I chose this one because it's a bit more interesting to graph out than the Political Compass ("4-values" I guess!) test.

It's certainly an interesting problem. Not that much good research has been done on it, I think because the kind of person who would do a good job considers it impossible to do right / unhelpful to try!

Might not ever happen but I've been thinking for a while of how to construct my own "political compass" test.

(...and then fill it with dozens of questions that make RKN angry. )

This much anger isn't good for my blood pressure, Karl.

I'm fairly left but still think people as a whole are idiots and need firm guidance, I guess.

It seems the end result of this will see 90% of us in an almost identical position, laughing at the outlier freaks.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it.

Don't know how to post images on my phone but I got Libertarian Socialism.

I get tripped up on the questions about traditions and family values. I'm not really sure what they mean when asking that.

Tradition has no place in modern society just saying.

Can't agree with this. Sure, tradition can't be used as an excuse to hold back progress toward a more just society, but traditions carry a huge amount of cultural value, especially those of minority groups that are eroded by the progress of more dominant cultures.

Sticking with tradition nearly caused the end of the world in Moana so therefore all tradition is evil!

Did get a banging tune out of it though:

About 40 people have taken part so far. Would be great to pump that up to 50 to get a nice size on the dataset.

A political compass quiz based around videogame questions would be great though

"Ganondorfian vanguardism was necessary to overthrow the monoreligious racial hierarchy of the Hylian monarchy."

[Agree] [Neutral] [Disagree]

"Tom Clancy videogames demonstrate the practical value of shadow military organisations unburdened by democratic accountability."

[Agree] [Neutral] [Disagree]

"Uncharted portrays a desirable model for the cultural preservation of foreign heritage."

[Agree] [Agree] [Agree]
