Jeremy Corbyn, finally putting to bed the stereotype that he's mentally stuck in the 1970s.

Corbyn's got an official theme song now, at least.

Change UK immediately CUK themselves, by getting their own name wrong, and referring to themselves by the name of the website that's considering legal action against them.

The name doesn't really fit a party that desperately wants to return to the liberal consensus politics of the last few decades. Divisions may be real but there are few people left or right who are mourning over the death of so-called centrism.

I dunno, it’s quite a specific pastiche of Obama's 2008 campaign of change and hope, which reinforces the feeling that this set up is for the centre that desperately wishes it was 2012 again.

He isn’t racist, he is an anti-foreigner activist. Just like how homophobes are just anti-gay activists.

Poor choice of words for sure, but it's pretty obvious why the BBC wouldn't just come out and call someone a racist. They wouldn't want to expose themselves to a lawsuit.

It’d be an easy case to win, there’s plenty of evidence of Yaxley-Lennon being a racist.

I don't know what has happened to the BBC and their news reporting the last few years. I'd really like to hear from someone from inside at the top on what is going on there.

I don’t think much has changed with the BBC. They have always been “balanced”, look at how many times Farage has been on QT over the last decade (probably longer!).

What’s changed is the extremes have gotten more extreme and the BBC haven’t caught up. So previously you’d have Farage on to “balance” things but he’d be touting a Norway arrangement for the UK. Now things have moved so far that for the “balance” you need Stephen Yaxley-Lennon on to advocate the mandatory deportation of anyone with a suspicious complexion.

That’s for CUKs not EDL.
