Cameron was a scumbag, and is largely responsible for the chaos we have now.
May was a bad PM,
but she was given the impossible task of cleaning up the complete omnishambles he left behind (and so was always going to fail).
I really hope this doesn't become her legacy as it really isn't true at all. She oversaw the EU negotiations and, rather than attempting to gain the best deal for the country, kowtowwed to the fringe elements of her party to sure up her own position which backfired spectacularly when the idiots she put in charge were simply unfit for the job and those fringe elements turned out to be far further right than she expected (but exactly as far right as everyone else expected).
She had every opportunity to steer us, if not out of the Brexit mess, then towards the less damaging shores of a decent deal.
She consciously chose not to.
100% what Taf said.
She was a banana split as Home Secretary, the hostile environment and Windrush spring to mind.
She then chose to run for PM.
She then set down her red lines. She decided to say “Brexit means Brexit”. She went to stare out the House of Lords. She decided to hold a snap election. She refused to listen to anybody else. She was unable to control her own party rebels.
Cameron was a useless prick, but May was far far worse.
On the plus side for her, Johnson is likely to very quickly overtake her on the list for worst ever PM.
