Absolutely absurd isn’t it.

Everyone votes for X. Lab & Tories: the message is clear, deliver Y!

The most important bellweather election is still to come though. As a politically engaged group it’s not enough for us here to just vote - we should at least make sure as best we can that friends and family will also vote. By talking to them in person as well as using the obvious social media channels.

If we can spend time posting shite here we can help increase the vote turnout.

No idea but this is a pretty strong "Leave" area so I'd imagine that had something to do with it.

I just looked up the results for the Ward where I live and sadly it was Labour & Independent, so neither of the Lib Dem candidates I voted for were elected

I've just noticed that my council saw a Conservative hold with an increase!

As an anti-brexit vote I voted for the one party that wasn't Labour or Tory, but they've somehow taken that to mean people want Brexit. Both main parties are useless and completely ignoring the 'will of the people'.

I've just noticed that my council saw a Conservative hold with an increase!

WTF.

Tories now only have a slim 21/37 majority here. They lost 6 seats (of the 11 being contested), 5 to Labour, 1 to the Lib Dems.

Greens now almost have the most seats in Brighton and Hove.

I reckon the Remain parties will get similar numbers to the Brexit party but those votes will be split amongst several parties.
