So, he's out of the running then?

Interesting times ahead.

Its good that in this day and age - any views you previously held are obtainable and can discredit you. That was 13 years ago but he sounds like a mysogynistic dinosaur.
What a pleb.

Are you ignoring the stuff from October 2018?

Actually you’re right, I misread it as October 2018, but that’s when he was accused, the pamphlet was over a decade ago.

Apologies id skim read and missed that.

What a twat. The defence of him is laughable as well.

You can make the point about disaffected youth without resorting to the views and language he's used.

Making excuses for people who preach hate is almost as bad.

It's ok - I had missed the original racist comments.

So we are both right and both wrong. Is this what they call compromise?

It's a Tory and liberal coalition.

Like the good old days.

Aren't people running for elected office meant to vetted for these kind of views before being given important party positions.

Gonna be interesting because while Sadiq Khan will get re-elected, I wouldn't say he's hugely popular in London.

Surely they won't vote for the Tory bloke after his other stuff came out. It'd be interesting if a third party won.

Whoever gets in is going to have to increase transport fares dramatically. So rather than it gradually going up every year or so, people will be hit with a bigger rise in one go.

Freezing them for 4 years (and introducing the hopper pricing scheme) is a great election ploy but the maths haven't worked out at all.

Less people are using the tube outside of peak times than expected which has only added to their woes.

Black people have been racially abused for far too long and here he is doing it to another race.
