See this is why I'm torn. That is such a funny image and the drama community are getting their digs in on Sargon and it is genuinely amusing! But, when it starts happening to less arrogant and less controversial figures, it won't be funny anymore.

Say it happened to Caroline Lucas, I think we would all be rightly outraged. I hope people just remain sensible with this new trend and don't start getting idiotic.

There’s justification for milkshaking Yaxley-Lennon and the like.

What’s the justification for millshaking Caroline Lucas? People furious that she might make the air a bit cleaner?

And even then I wouldn’t be particularly outraged.

Does CRD think throwing food at political figures is a new thing, or something?

Can someone explain the Yaxley-Lennon thing to me. I know it’s Robinson’s real name, but why do people make a point of using his real name, and why does he go by Robinson now anyway?

He goes by Tommy Robinson to appear "common [white working class] man"

People are denying him that, hoping his supporters might realise they're being played.

He took the name Tommy Robinson from a well known Luton football hooligan. Why he did I don’t know.

He’s never changed his name officially and so people use Yaxley-Lennon rather than his hooligan name. As he has a conviction for travelling under a passport with a false name, it’s probably best we don’t let him have too many other identities.

I think pouring an entire milkshake over someone is getting a bit extreme when it comes to throwing food, but it is funny when it happens to people I don't like, like Sargon or Tommy Robinson.

I'm just concerned about this seeming OK to people on the right, and they inevitably take it to the next level. And the response to pouring a drink over someone will usually be violent. Not to mention, in the current climate with acid attacks on the rise, throwing a liquid over someone in public is not a great idea.

So whilst it is funny and has produced some amusing pictures, I hope it stops.

Crop spraying milkshake across an entire UKIP rally? I like your thinking.

The Right has already shot and murdered an MP. Milkshakes are quite a few levels below that.

And run over and killed a peaceful protestor in a car in the States. Make no mistake, these are the same people.

I hope this continues as long as it needs to. I hope these strawberry floats become scared of attending rallies because of the milkshake wielding millions.

They need to stop this milkshake throwing, some of the victims could be lactose intolerant and that is NOT ok.

People should do the same with Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson.

Won't someone think of the multimillionaire former investment bankers?!

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was because it sorted of sounded less English.
