Having to go down in Brexit flames against their will has hit the Scots hard it seems.

So, was going to keep this to myself and brazen out any questions but decided to spill some dreadful news I received today. It will greatly amuse most of you I imagine - you filthy socialists. I thought Id share it so you can mock me accordingly. Because I love you all.

So having not received my ballot in the post and assuming It was part of the recently reported issues they've been having - I contacted the Conservative party hotline to sort it out. Turns out when I joined in July 2016 - I hadn't indicated that I wanted my membership to be automatically renewed. I've been receiving correspondence from them (mail and email) and even received my email informing me of the upcoming ballot vote for members. That being the case i'd assumed I was still a member (not having checked my account for a once a year payment for the last two years). As im not I don't have any eligibility to vote and haven't actually been a paid member for two bloody years. I'm mortified at both my lack of membership and lack of ability to vote.

You'd think they'd bug you to re-up again, no wonder they've been having problems with membership numbers.

Apparently you can renew over the phone.

All it would have taken was One Ring.

Why didn't the eagles just renew Denny's membership?

That's what I said. Not even an email to say sorry you haven't renewed?

Very strange.
