See quite a few in London, though there's no way of knowing whether they're actually from the local community or just middle eastern tourists.

London doesn't count, everyone there is an arsehole. ;)

Britain sides with Boris:

Sky News wrote:Breaking: The majority of Britons think describing women in burkas as looking like "letter boxes" is not racist according to a snap Sky Data poll.

60% say it is not racist, while 33% think it is. 48% of the UK thinks he shouldn't apologise, whereas 45% think he should.

A lot of fascist-apologist centrists say things like "You just described a majority view as 'racist'! You can't seriously think over half the British population is racist?!"

Well it's right there in that poll. Over half the British population is racist. It's sad but there you are.

I for one am shocked that a bunch of people raised on a diet of casual racism in the 60s and 70s are a bit racist.

I agree that people should be able to wear what they like, but I fear and expect that the majority of women that wear a burka don’t do so because they want to more that they are forced to wear it by their family or husband (whom may also have been forced on them) this is Britain and it’s 2018, I believe in a completely equal society for both men and women and I don’t believe there can be equality for women while we allow the burka,

"And wsay to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their scarves (khimars) to cover their bosoms (jaybs), and not to display their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or the followers from the men who do not feel sexual desire, or the small children to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, and not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments. And turn in repentance to Allah together, O you the faithful, in order that you are successful"

Why are we even having this debate?

An idiot PM above his station has used a racist mickey taking slur against an already struggling group of people. What is there to debate?

Absolutely Boris should be sacked, for any number of horrendous comments and actions he's taken. This is just the latest in a long line of fuckwittery.

It's amazing to think that 3-4 years ago the stuff that's coming out would be stone-cold resignation/sacking cases. Now they're all clinging on like shite on a toilet bowl and the scum bags who voted for them applaud.

So you don’t really believe people should be able to wear what they like.
