I completely understand why people don’t like Corbyn’s Labour, but I am stunned that the Tories are that far ahead.

Equally stunned really that the Lib Dem’s are on 10%. Remain supporting Tory/Labour voters drifting back maybe?

I feel like Corbyn has lost his shine and people are finally working out he's a leaver.

I can’t bring myself to vote Lib Dem again in their current state. My Labour MP is decent but I am very unimpressed with the Labour leadership.

The Greens might be the way for me to go in 2022 if things stay like this.

Although if they had more MPs they'd have a bigger pool to select a leader from.

The Lib Dem’s? It’s true they’d have a bigger pool but they let us down in 2010, made a homophobe leader in 2015 and then replaced him with a boring great grampa. strawberry float ‘em.

Watching BBC Parliament (help, someone) and I'm taken aback by how weirdly smug most Tory MPs are. They ask some dumb question and sit down with the same undeserving sense of superiority as someone who forwards an idiotic racist Facebook post and adds "Well, there we go!".

You don't really get Labour, Lib Dem, SNP, Plaid, or Green MPs acting the same way. It's like a prerequisite.

They been in power since the start of this decade, and the opposition is basically fronted by someone who is not very electable. They think they are safe, and unless something changes soon, I would agree with that.

I think a lot of the Tories were born into privilege and don't really understand how the world works for most people. They grew up in a rich household, went to private school and were all but guaranteed a six figure salary when they graduated. It's that smugness that comes from not having to worry about anything.

I think some of the less well off Tory supporters live in a similar bubble. It's growing up with a stable family going to a decent school and just not encountering a situation where you have to struggle. You just get to a place where you start to think 'well if I got through it, why can't other people just do what I did. It must all be there fault."

I've still got BBC Parliament on for some reason. An urgent question on Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe's detention in Iran from her MP, Tulip Siddiq sees all this smugness from the government benches evaporate. Everyone in the House is notably humble, polite, and professional like you might actually want to expect.

Also notably, there's probably less than two dozen Tories sitting down now.

...

Soubry should have more protection in one of those videos, unacceptable that she's being surrounded without those police officers across the road helping out.

Good to see the ugly overweight white blokes are representing though.

Getting tired of how these people are presented as mere protesters by most reports. Call them what they are: far right white nationalists and fascists. Unchecked we will have to add 'terrorist' to the mix.

Is this the same Tulip Sidiq who is related to, the President was it?, of Bangladesh, who refused to intervene after the unreasonable arrest and imprisonment of the UK citizen?

Brave to be the one to ask the question. Stupid too as it's an easy score.

It’s strawberry floating hilarious that these ultra patriotic people have to copy the French with the yellow jackets. I guess it’s a change from them copying the German Nazi salutes.

Do they ever manage to come up with anything that they haven’t stolen from foreigners?

She had an altercation with Channel 4 News over it, yeah, which she apologised for, and called for her aunt's government to release someone else a few months ago.

Police will be given new powers to tackle the illegal use of drones, the government has announced.

The area around airports where drones are banned from flying will also be extended, and from 30 November operators of drones between 250g and 20kg will need to be registered.

Labour said action on drones should have been taken years ago.

Last month flights from Gatwick were suspended for more than 36 hours after drones were reported over the airfield.

The plans follow a consultation into the use of drones which began in July.

The government said it would also expand technology to detect and repel drones from sites like airports and prisons, to prevent any repeat of events like those at Gatwick airport in December.

New legislation will give police additional powers to land drones and require users to produce the appropriate documentation.

They will also be able to search premises and seize drones - including the electronic data stored within the device - where a serious offence has been committed and a warrant is secured.

For minor drone offences, police will be able to issue fixed-penalty notices, with fines of up to £100 for offences such as failing to comply with an officer when instructed to land a drone or not showing the registration required to operate a drone.

Registered drone users will also need to take an online competency test.

I guess if you’re not on some sort of government register by the end of 2019 you clearly haven’t lived...

A vote for Corbyn as leader was exactly the same.
