Yeah, we aren’t going to have people starving because the 23 to Harley Shute is cancelled.

He needs to be talking the things that are going to actually strawberry float over chunks of this country rather than humbling along and letting it strawberry float everything up because he is a gooseberry fool head that would rather get what he personally wants at the expense of others.

Brexit will determine the entirety of the next parliament, as well as the direction the country will go in for decades to come. Corbyn has not shown one iota of real leadership during a time when we needed a competent, focused opposition. His refusal to take any public position on Brexit has been a major factor in allowing the discourse to be restricted to between May and the ERG.

But sure, anyone thinking the leader should be doing his job instead pretending to be shadow transport secretary is just "middle class tears".

Can't believe Corbyn didn't get the memo that all other politics has stopped while Brexit happens. Imagine thinking there are people out there who are thinking about literally anything else.

This strategy worked when campaigning in 2017 (and when he brought up buses at some point last year) because Brexit was still far enough away to sort out that it didn't need 100% of any party's focus. Doesn't have the same benefit six weeks before the UK goes tits up, and it makes him look indifferent to the scale of calamity we're now facing.

If he came up with a coherent position on Brexit then we’d all be happy for him to sort of the buses as well.

He’s only had the best part of 3 years to decide what he thinks on Brexit though, so maybe he’ll come up with something soon.

He's already said, he wants a customs union. I don't think that's a satisfactory outcome as it would be akin to remaining in the EU with a bigger democratic deficit, but you can't ignore that he has been clear on his policy just because you don't agree with it.

He wants a customs union. But he also wants to be free to negotiate trade deals and control immigration. That’s just unicornism. A customs union doesn’t fully fix the Irish border problem.

And just saying “let’s have a customs union” isn’t a full coherent Brexit policy.

He also wants to be able to veto any new trade deal the EU negotiates.

You know what, I really hate that the noble and ethereal unicorn species has been appropriated to use as an insult against political agendas.

No wonder they fled to the Rainbow Realm, wish they'd taken me with them :(

I'd like to see the results if they added another option of a half eaten packet of hob nobs.

That should spell it out to Labour, why they aren't making any ground whatsoever against the most spineless, chicken-shit government in recent history, with a joke of a PM at the helm.

But it won't. It never does.

Actually it is because the media hate Corbyn and that's why people think that they don't like him. If only they would listen to him then they would see that he is our lord and saviour and is the only guy that can turn this country into the workers paradise that we so desperately need.

The right wing press poisoned the country against European integration and the EU but it's crazy to suggest the right wing press doesn't do the same against socialist causes and leaders?

He doesn't have a monopoly on socialism though. The polls of Tory against Labour suggest a much closer race so it's not like the country doesn't want to vote for Labour, they just don't want to vote for Corbyn. He's an absolute lame duck and would stop the Labour party winning a GE. May being so awful just gives Momentum hope that he'll get in by default as opposed to being the right person for the job. The country deserves better.

No doubt, and it's a desperate shame that he has come to represent the best of the 'the left'. My point is that a predominantly right wing press is going to hold double standards of people like Corbyn and the Tories.

Against socialist causes – probably.

Against Corbyn? Maybe, they are certainly very unfair to him in a lot of cases. But that doesn’t explain his lack of popularity with left leaning people.

The right wing press spent DECADES brainwashing people into hating Europe/the EU. 4 years ago the vast majority of people hadn’t even heard of Corbyn, let alone read press propaganda against him.
