Has anyone seen the very sinister sounding Jeremy Corbyn commercial currently airing on TV by the Mail on Sunday? They’re serialising “Dangerous Hero: Corbyn’s Ruthless Plot For Power”.

A gripping expose of the man, his politics and what Corbyn in Downing Street could mean for Britain. After four unremarkable decades in politics, Jeremy Corbyn stands on the brink of power.

Jeremy Corbyn’s ‘joyless’ approach to life and its role in the collapse of his first marriage are to be revealed in a bombshell new biography of the Labour leader.

A devastating expose by renowned investigative author Tom Bower, being serialised exclusively in the Mail on Sunday, covers every aspect of Corbyn’s professional and personal life - and will add to the political pressures mounting on him over anti-semitism and Brexit.

Apparently it’s one of the biggest ever hatchet jobs in newspaper history, spanning at least 25 PAGES.

1. Married to a joyless fanatic: How Jeremy Corbyn NEGLECTED the mother of his three sons and cost them the family home because of his chaotic finances.
2. DAN HODGES: Labour's split is coming.. so how CAN any decent MP stay?
3. GLEN OWEN: The charge sheet is long. The verdict is irrefutable: Corbyn isn't fit to be PM
4. Countdown star Rachel Riley is teaming up with advisers from Tony Blair's government to launch a breakaway Labour Party to stop Corbyn getting the keys to No 10
5. Corbyn is CONDEMNED as 'not fit to govern' after DAMNING expose of the Labour leader.
6. Jeremy Corbyn's 40 YEARS of PLOTS, LIES, INTIMIDATION AND CHAOS: Chilling biography tells how Labour leader followed Lenin and Trotsky's bloody footprint - seize power, purge moderates, crush dissent and leave the dirty work to others.
7. 'She was shocked when we entered' - Jeremy Corbyn drove two friends to his flat because he wanted them to see new girlfriend Diane Abbott NAKED in his bed.
8. His idea of fun? Cold Tesco baked beans or sitting on the floor singing IRA songs: Book lifts the lid on life for Corbyn's first wife that turned into a succession of political demos
9. ELIZABETH DAY: Jeremy Corbyn's misogynist put-downs. Neglecting his wives while expecting them to do all the chores. How could any woman vote for this sorry excuse for a man?
10. Principled? Corbyn secretly believed in Brexit...but 'campaigned' for Remain.

The Mail acting like racist banana splits? Shocking!

I don’t understand the point of it, Mail readers wouldn’t vote for Corbyn, Corbyn voters wouldn’t read the Mail. It’s like slagging off Liverpool in a Man U fanzine, you’re only preaching to the converted.

I guess the headlines and media coverage will spread the anti-Corbyn message a little further, but politics is so tribal now that I can’t see it swaying many people either way.

It’s consolidating their viewership, they can’t just convince the gooseberry fool heads, they have to keep up the tide of crap to keep them thinking “the right way” otherwise over time the shitheadery will erode in the more normal of their readers and eventually see sense, so they need to keep it up to keep the people convinced.

Where else are they going to go? They are not likely to start buying the Guardian and the average Mail reader probably thinks the internet is something to do with fishing.

I get that they are giving their readers what they want, but it seems the most pointless of hatchet jobs, “hey guess what? That guy you hate? He’s a bastard!”. Wooo big scoop.

They will just drift back to the middle and not really pay much attention to anything. By keeping up this stuff they keep the more naturally moderate reader from drifting to the centre and becoming a non voter or worst they might see something that comes out in an election that they agree with on the left.

It's all too easy to reference Orwell these days, sadly, but part of the Mail's purpose here is simply to make sure people stay angry, and that's a lot easier when there's someone to focus that hate on.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

1984 is overused but there are parallels. I’ve especially noticed doublethink creeping in. Instead of “war is peace” we have things like “voting again is anti-democratic”. We have people simultaneously believing that the EU is an all powerful dictatorship, while it’s also possible to walk away with a simple vote.

I think Brave New World is a closer dystopia. The information is there, but people are too entertained to look for any of it. Though people are usually too tired after work to bother with politics.

It's been a terribly stressful time for the family as you can imagine, and they're fighting it with everything they have. It's a small thing, but they do have a petition up on Change.org that's been doing really well (cleared over 100,000 signatures in less than a week), I'm going to post it here in case anyone wants to also sign it.

Update: The Home Office have caved and are letting them stay indefinitely. Massive thanks to everyone here that signed the petition, nice to get a small glimmer of good news in the UK given the ongoing shitshow that is our government.

Were there any clues when he was a kid that Boris Johnson would grow up to become a massive wanker?

According to Corbyn at PMQs, the government spent £800,000 on private companies to assess the Seaborne Ferries contract, and then completely ignored their advice that it was high risk.

Pay people for their opinion of your product or service.
People tell you that your product is gooseberry fool and is doomed to failure.
Ignore advice and do it anyway.
Product or service fails because it’s gooseberry fool.
Ask questions and promise to “learn lessons” for next time.
Repeat.
