Potentially (she’s got no chance) our next leader.

:fp:

The airport on St Helena is actually functioning correctly now too (which was how the treasury office there was able to send me the 50p coin i requested via air mail).

So it wasn’t foreign aid, wasn’t on a continent and it is working.

No wonder Lorraine Kelly hates her.

The only way Boris isn't winning this is if everyone that's voting elsewhere has an 'anyone but Boris' mentality.

Yeah it looks highly likely it'll be Prime Minister Boris Johnson :fp: :fp: :fp:

What an awful state we're in.

Rory Stewart isn't doing well even at this stage:
Boris Johnson: 114
Jeremy Hunt: 43
Michael Gove: 37
Dominic Raab: 27
Sajid Javid: 23
Matt Hancock: 20
Rory Stewart: 19
Andrea Leadsom: 11
Mark Harper: 10
Esther McVey: 9

Don't forget it goes to the Conservative Party members, it won't matter ultimately what the MPs think. If it were up to MPs, Boris would already be having his coronation.

Unless Boris now sheds some votes, it is impossible for him not to make the top 2. There is obviously no way to split the remaining 200 votes so that 2 other candidates both get over 114.

Think if he makes the top 2 it will be pretty plain sailing with the party members.

I genuinely hate Boris Johnson with a passion, how can anyone think he is in any way fit to be an MP, let alone the Prime Minister. He's selfish, deceptive and demonstrably unprincipled.

All that said, I am not convinced he'll be PM. Not clear he can command a majority.

No, another ballot to thin the field and then a further set next week to narrow it 2 candidates which then go out to the party members. Unless of course everyone else pulls out.

The Tories will get behind him and I don’t see the DUP jumping ship.

By the looks of it either Jo Swinson or Ed Davey is going to be the new leader of the Lib Dems.

Hugh Bonneville's a lock to play Ed Davey in a C4/BBC2 docu-drama nobody will watch, confirmed.

I don't see this going to a party vote. I think by the time we get down to the final two, it will be clear that Boris will win and one challenger will drop out leaving him unopposed.

As much as I dislike Boris, Prime Minister Hunt sounds even worse. :dread:

Boris may be a lot of things (many of which aren't very pleasant), but i wouldn't say he was dumb.

Boris Johnson is a malicious idiot who thinks himself a deserving mastermind pretending to be a harmless idiot.
