Then again I suppose they thought that, ultimately, not enough people in a position to do anything about it will care, and they're probably right.
I do wonder if Labour have the option of privately prosecuting the BBC
Have Lab actually found any "editting", because the example they highlighted earlier were woefully ineffectual at changing the message.
And taking a quote is not "editting" or "doctoring" - it would have to fundamentally alter the intent/meaning But that's become the story now in the Corbynites crusade against the enemy of the people! - and Lab, unless I've missed it, haven't provided evidence of that. Just that they've got off the bit the Lab are desperate to use to spin spin spin
Something’s going wrong, and we’re muddling up political disputes with racism
But if we’re more than very occasionally using disciplinary action against Jewish members for antisemitism, Something’s going wrong, and we’re muddling up political disputes with racism

It's a rah rah propaganda piece that knows exactly what type of person it's aimed at, and it will work wonders for them.
It, unironically spends the opening half (without substantiation) beasting and smearing journalists and "whistleblowers" - and inventing massive conspiracies.
If Panaroma was so obviously lying and distorting it should be easy to scientifically dissect it and refute it. But it doesn't do that (you kinda have to wonder why)
All they've got is name calling and "they always hated us. they've always been
the enemy"
e.g.
“These disaffected former officials include those who have always opposed Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership, worked to actively undermine it, and have both personal and political axes to grind.”
I mean it's not even slightly consolatory e.g. "We're sorry people feel that way, but we don't believe their recollection match events because of X, Y and Z". They're liars. ALL OF THEM. They've always been against us. They're LYING. It's an attack. It's the same tone as Lab's own response (fancy that) and it's tone deft and inept. Which rather highlights the Lab's core problem in the whole process - criticism must be wrong and critics must be the enemy.
Trying to tie it into Daaroch to highlight some sort of perceived double standard on whistleblowing/leaking is amazingly stupid and inept.
It's defending Ken Livingstone as not being antisemitic.
So yeah it's trash. It's designed to rile up the faithfully followers with piss and vinegar rather than have to deal with some uncomfortable truths. And it'll work.
The comments on that vacuous nonsense are
amazing "an honest, reflective, and grown up voice to counteract the hysteria" (Hysterical is possible the most apt description of the frothing mouth attack on critics...but sure). Yep. It's working wonders on the faithful
But hey now it turns out another 30 staff have been whistleblowing to the EHCR. I'm sure they're all just evil Blairites who have been conspiring to bring down Jeremy Corbyn for years too! I mean he's lost every election and polling record lows, but the establishment is terrified of him and his comrades!
How do you feel about what...say...Jewish Labour Movement had to say about it? Or the Board of Deputies? Etc
