We can all guess exactly how this is likely to go. It will be severely damning, but the power of the criticism will be equalled by the obstinate bluster of the Tory banana split Brigade, who will have to drop their old pretences around waiting for everything to come out, not interfering with an ongoing investigation etc and simply move to a basic "it happened, there are more important things to worry about, get over it".
Pretty much nailed it, I suspect. Maybe a Tory MP will speak against the PM, but the majority will support him(/their own job).
Will be interesting to see when the report is made public. Every minute it is delayed, the harder it is for the opposition to attack, because they'll have had less time to read it and pick their attack lines. Therefore I suspect the report will be made public at around 11.30. What would be the best opposition attack line? Aim at Boris and try to take him down, or widen the focus to the Tory party as a whole, taint them all with the same brush.
No doubt the photos which came out before will feature, simply because at this moment, only Boris and his team have a copy of the report, so much easier to prepare this attack line using what id already known. As always, I expect SNP to be harder in their attacks than Labour. 50/50 on their leader being kicked out for calling Boris a liar!
