From my point of view it's the Allies who are evil.

Cost of living: Iceland to offer interest-free loans to customers

Genuinely horrible situation. This should be front page news and society should stop and think what sort of a a mess we are in when people need to get into debt to buy modestly priced food .

Wish my image sig would work

It might help if the boss of Iceland stopped donating to the Tories.

"I once wrote a book about this which... which got mischaracterised."

OK so it was criticised? Is it so hard to say that? Nope it's an error on the part of respondents who misinterpreted what she was saying.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

She is quite honest about what she wants. She wants graft.

graft
/ɡrɑːft/
noun
noun: graft

bribery and other corrupt practices used to secure illicit advantages or gains in politics or business.

At what stage do you think someone should question what they're actually getting out of making a point of being polite to actual unrepentant Nazis?

Can't even Godwin's Law it!

If there's a Nazi at the table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with 11 Nazis

At first I thought this was the Torygraph spinning the cost of living crisis into a health benefit.

But...

Not if it's the Nuremberg trials and they hang the Nazi afterwards.

I can understand acknowledging growing up in post war in Germany that your friends may well have some Nazis in their immediate family, and for the sake of your friend, not making a scene if you're going round for dinner. But to sum this up as "so what, you know a racist" is just gross and utterly indicative of the attitude that allowed the Nazis to ascend to power in the first place.

As a general rule, if you know a racist, don't pal around with them, it's not hard or even new.

Who knew they had cancel culture all the way back in 1984?
