Nope. It is a Labour PM from the future that did this.

This is what chaos under Ed Miliband would have been like! Good thing you didn't vote for that.

Daft banana split.

Presumably he's in favour of tory mismanagement of public transport.

Literally everybody who draws a pay check should be educated about their union, or automatically paid into one to become a member by default. The Tories just can not stand them, never have and never will. A working man with a voice? They hate it.

It's incredible all the people outraged about the strikes and the disruption. Its almost like the railway workers are essential and should be suitably compensated. ;)

Not many normal people are outraged, though, it's the media trying to whip up a narrative against them, but they're barely able to get anything other than supportive statements from the general public.

The number of times I've seen people say unions are Labour affiliated is doing my head in. As if all unions are Labour by default. RMT are in fact unaffiliated but the Tory objective is clear-let chaos unfold and blame it on Labour. And the media will let them get away with it too.

Even if it was true (and you're right, it isn't), it's hardly a shock that the Labour Party might have Union affiliations.

And I much prefer that to the Tory affiliations with Russian oligarchs.

It's actually incredible that a government in power for 12 years is getting away with blaming the opposition.

Reporter: Sympathy at the moment then, but as this strike goes on and summer plans are ruined that's when people will start to lose patience.

That's not news, that's speculation. Classic BBC balance.

They did the same a few weeks ago with someone planning to go to Glastonbury. You could tell how flustered the presenter was.
