Good riddance to that dickhead Dowden. One of the worst purveyors of culture wars bullshit and anti-woke rhetoric.

No compulsory beheadings, as long as you commit to some voluntary ones. :fp:

I don't think the RMT position is in anyway unrealistic. "Take compulsory redundancy off the table and then we will constructively discuss VS". Seems absolutely fair to me.

It's 11am, I assume the Lib Dems have done one of their physical political sketches by now?

I'm so glad Oliver Dowden has quit, that banana split is my local MP and if it triggers a by-election even though Labour has no chance due to the huge Jewish community and the anti Labour sentiment hopefully the Lib Dems have a chance.

He has resigned as chairman of the Conservative party not as MP

Just finished the whole of QT and Mick Lynch was superb again. I don't really see the point of Fiona Bruce being a moderator though if she can't clarify points of pure bullshit though, especially in cases where the Tory MP said the rail companies had guaranteed no compulsory redundancy, when her own document proved the exact opposite.

Edit: Of course that isn't a Fiona Bruce problem, she is heavily limited by the BBC which seems to have a policy that impartiality means not pointing out untruths.

Nadine Dorries is the worst kind of person.

Also, who the strawberry float words a sentence like that: "...we must be relentless in cracking on with the job of delivering" that's a failed attempt of a robot trying to sound human!

It's actually quite worrying as it lays the groundwork for an argument for invalidating election results.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.
