Surely WFH is an absolute godsend to anyone who is a parent to young kids, which is…a lot of people. The Sun can strawberry float off, wouldn’t wipe my arse with it.

It has given me a completely different experience to what I would have had if I'd been commuting to an office 5 days a week, for the first 12 months of my son's life

The further irony is that the majority of their columnists all write their articles...working from home.

Aye, exactly.

Also: "After a couple of weeks, I became lethargic, lazy, unmotivated and yet, perversely, convinced that I was much, much happier WFH."

Maybe living to work doesn't lead to happiness; shock horror.

Same here, my relationship with my 3.5 year old has benefited massively.

Them working from home is to them an elite privalage given only to the ultra successful posh twat club, to which they feel they have exclusive access. If us mere povvo mortals can also do it, how can they feel superior?

Also, the implication that because they became a lazy slob, it's a bad idea for all of us is absurd

I'm significantly more productive WFH. I just work much better in my own environment and am more motivated without a gruelling commute and being able to take small breaks in comfort at home.

I'm a lazy twat whether I'm in the office or not. ;)

I've been remote for years but am definitely more productive in this state. I'm a chatty strawberry floater so spend ages in an office just shooting the gooseberry fool.

But there is a creeping generation of entitled workers thinking it is their right to lay down terms of their employment.

failing to see the negative in workers realising they have rights and bargaining power tbh

It's taken me WfH for an extended period to realise that working in the office is a rule laid down by extroverts for extroverts.

If you're a Tory it's terrible.

This is actually what is happening at my work. Those in lower job grades are expected to now be in the office 100% of the time while those in higher (often but not always managers) are allowed some degree of flexibility to work from home, as had been the case before 2020.

I expect quite a few colleagues will end up being tempted away by more flexible businesses.

WFH is obviously only relevant to office jobs, the likes of The Sun are basically trying to stoke resentment in those who are unable to WFH. It's all about pushing division.

What a thundercunt

How dare people want a life outside work!

Gen Z are at most 24 years old so the majority are still in education and definitely not working from home anyway
