The worst part is you know when these racist strawberry floats go on holiday to the Costa Del Sol or wherever they're speaking English the whole time and expect everyone to speak English back to them.

Just to play Devils Avocado I don't think it's purely racism, you could have added how do you feel of a group of people in hoodies, covered in tattoo's, piercings, muscular, listening to hip hop, etc. People were scared of things/people that are different to what they know. I'd say it's more ignorance than racism.

These are definitely not mutually exclusive.

At my work we have Indian contractors sometimes when you walk past then they'll switch from speaking English to Hindi. That's pretty annoying although I've been told it's because they'll always trying to get jobs elsewhere and don't want it getting back to management.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

They really should have split it between "not at all bothered" and "any level of bother", which would see a 53/42 split in the nation in favour of being racist pricks.

73% of leave voters have some kind of problem with people not speaking English in public, and are even backed up by 38% of remainers.

English people have an issue with Welsh people speaking Welsh in Wales.

My favourite is 'They were all speaking English until I walked in and then they spoke Welsh'

Lol.

When I was at uni, in Cardiff, one of the English girls we lived with yelled at 2 Welsh housemates about it being rude to speak in another language in front of people who can't speak it. They were actually speaking English, but just with fairly heavy accents.

Tell me, how many different British languages did you learn, and now fluently speak, during your time living and working in Britain the last 20-30 years? Will you be teaching your child this wealth of knowledge? Or is it more a case of you've never actually done any of that and prior to 2016 never even considered it, but now it's a useful beating stick in your anti-English language arsenal..."Yeah, but I might have done!"

Yeah, sure, along with the millions of other Welshies who up until 3 years ago only thought about Britain when booking their summer holiday in Weston-Super-Mare.

Oh, and the 6 Nations.

I don't have to justify anything to you. Not now. Not ever.

He's literally put homeless people in the trash. Wouldn't it just be easier to get them all tents and sent aside land for them to use if you really wanted to go the total dystopian route anyway? You could probably get a load of free tents by collecting them after music festivals as music fans tend to abandon them at the end of the festival anyway.
