If this was Keir Starmer It'd be front page news for weeks and he'd resign, not Boris though.

On a side note, how is Bojo getting all these women?

My brother just said about this one. I haven't heard anything about it.

Yeah that one's bollocks, no way does he actually have a hairdresser

I fully believe he'd pretend to have a hairdresser so that he could shag somebody without his wife getting suspicious.

Isn't the messy hair gooseberry fool just a on camera thing, i.e. it isn't a mess until he is going to be on camera and she fluffs it up.

Also given he has 2 camera people one of which was for his dog I totally believe he ha a hair dresser, and that if they are female he would have boinked them.

Can't afford your own home? Don't worry, just get the kids you don't have and also can't afford to pay for it!

"Have a 50 year mortgage so we can increase house prices even further and your kids can be in massive amounts of debt when you die"

Cheers Johnson!

Get a 50 year mortgage on your 2nd (or greater) home so you can set your kids up with a stable career as a landlord.

Absolutely nothing bad can result from people taking out debt they can't actually pay back, nothing at all.

Yeah the idea with this isn't to 'help' people getting a property, it's absolutely to establish a precedent of inheritable debt in order to begin making other debts no longer discharged upon death if the estate can't cover the full amount owed and being passed along to family members instead.

To be fair to Johnson, his entire life has been built on the notion that someone else will pick up the bill.

How would this actually work in practise? Like do I get to sign up my (non existent) five year old child, who is then forced to continue paying off a mortgage they had no reasonable ability to make a decision into or do I have to wait until they're 18 and actually agree to the deal.

Also how would living arrangements work? Am I just going to have my child living with me for the rest of my life, and their wife and potential offspring. What if I have more than one child, do they each get a portion of my debt/ asset? This idea seems riddled with problems.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

You've done more analysis of this in one post than Johnson actually has.

A 50 year mortgage would surely be great for the banks. You get 40 years of interest and capital payments, and when someone comes to inherit the house and debt and says 'No' or can't afford it, the bank take the house back.

Would the person inheriting not just sell the house and pay off the remaining mortgage?
