Even statements the other way round like "x must lead to y" are problematic, logically.

Pretty sure that ends up skewing my results towards "neutral" as there isn't an option for "I disagree with the construction of this statement"

Every bodies favourite skin head thug is back in hot water.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/c ... edium=Feed

Former English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

The 37-year-old far-right campaigner, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was detained after police received a report of an assault on a man at Hollywood Retail Park in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday.

Great, now all we'll hear for the next six weeks is racists saying gooseberry fool like "free Tommy!" "the establishment are out to get him" "what about the grooming gangs".

Remember when Maajid Nawaz paid Tommy Robinson to leave the EDL, so he could promote his bullshit Quilliam foundation?

And now he has a regular slot on LBC lmao

52% isn't a high enough percentage to decide anything is it? ;)

Been moaning at my local MP on twitter. Sent him a message in May 2018 about FOBT legislation as they were discussing it.

Went to send him another email about a month ago, realised he never responded to my previous email, so called him out on a twitter comment he made about communication.

He responded saying he'd 'resend' his response. Haven't got anything so have dived in again.

My girlfriend has also sent him 3 emails over the last few years about various issues he could have attacked the government on. No response/acknowledgement so she's dived in as well.

Absolutely incredible to be honest that it's only 52%. What more evidence do they need that Westminster should have no place governing them. If we had a vote in the South West to join Cornish independence, I'd vote for it.

That's what i was gonna say, honestly disappointed it's not higher at this point. Still though, no ongoing campaigning etc, very strong base to work from.

How the strawberry float is it so low? Honestly I'd have guessed it would have come out more like 65/35 by now, at the very least!

Bear in mind that's the baseline, with no campaigning or focuson the issue. I might be wrong but I think it was in the high 30s before the indy referendum campaigns got into gear.

Maybe people are considering their answer based on more than the 1 issue of this governed. Thinking of things as a whole with lots of factors instead of a binary thing.

Westminster and such are gooseberry fool, but, independence involves a gooseberry fool load more than just getting rid of London.

Brexit was one with the whole point being “get rid of the eu” with no actual thought for what we do after and how to survive. Maybe people surveyed are learning from that and going sure we can sack off London but then what, can Scotland actually survive as an independent nation etc etc.

By dint of the way propaganda (as a neutral term) works I would strongly suggest this isn't the case.

The idea that Scotland could not "survive" as an independent nation is patently ridiculous.

I read that that Scotland would be marginally better off per capita if it left the UK, so it probably make economic sense to leave. The Tories will not give a second vote though.
