Is Norcott actually right wing? I've never watched any of his stuff, but when he's been on panel shows he comes across as someone that's worked out "I'm a right wing comedian" is a great marketing opportunity but he doesn't ever seem to do anything right wing other than "hehe, Corbyn's rubbish isn't he".

Sounds like the sort of thing where men who cannot fathom why a woman wouldn't touch them even if they were the last man on earth will call in and complain about anyone but themselves.

Wasn't that just government policy during the Cameron era?

Not really.

Looking at a lot of the other recent polls, that ten point lead is a real outlier. I'd really like Mr. Johnson to call an election because I think there'd some decent money to be made betting on a coalition to happen when the choice is really tested on the public. I have some people in my life who are like ultra insane leavers, some non-plussed leavers, some strong remainers etc...and absolutely none of them like the Prime Minister. I don't understand not only why they are voting for them, but who will actually vote for them again next time? Last time, Brexit voters had to vote with the government, that need has now gone.

Brexit fools will still be voting on Brexit lines. It'll be "Boris saved us from the EU" and "Labour betrayed working class Leave voters".

It's going to take at least another 5-10 years before the need for Leavers to vote Tory dissipates.

YouGov might not be the outlier if this is anything to go by.

I'm amazed but the field work is two weeks old so pre conferences.

All the polls were the same before May got the shock of her life needing a coalition. I actually think its set up for a shock.

The mayor of London has decided Cressida Dick should not face a formal investigation into an official finding that she obstructed an inquiry into police corruption.

Institutional corruption going no where to no one's surprise.

Labour's conference was hardly a success or even a turning point though. Can't even recall how the Tory conference went as I paid it even less attention. The petrol / diesel shortage wouldn't have filtered through based on the field work. But even that doesn't seem to have had much impact if YouGov's polling data can be relied on.

There's no opposition in Westminster and it's crippling everything.

I still think the media is to blame for some of it, Moggy posted an interview with that Bridgen MP on Irish radio and he got destroyed in real time by an Irish MP no less.

I applaud Rashford but doesn't Labour have anyone else that can lead/rally against the tide?

Would Andy Barnham stand a chance or is the south opposed? (I don't have a grasp on the demographics of the UK).

Labour are poor and Starmer is hardly doing an outstanding job.

But there's not really much they can do. The media are mostly pro-Tory and they have a huge majority in Parliament.

We're strawberry floated until the country wakes up. And I don't think they will wake up for a very long time.

A divided vote on the left, FPTP and right wing media dominance means we're going to have to ride out things getting worse and worse for awhile unfortunately

It'll take a general strike and the centre has too high a threshold to be doing something like that any time soon.

On any news item, anywhere on the internet, you will find an overwhelming commentary of either:

1. Where is Starmer on this issue?! It's an open goal! He should be 20 points ahead!!

or

2. I see Captain Hindsight is at it again, why doesn't he just shut up and try to be constructive for once?

We're strawberry floated. A controlling minority of voters now have their own personalities, pride and honour attached to the Tories and they will work extremely hard to discredit any opposition to them.
