Labour had another leadership debate last night on Sky News. Audience were asked who they thought performed best at the end and they said Lisa Nandy>Keir Starmer>Rebecca Long-Bailey. Nandy keeps doing really well in these interview type scenarios.

None of them have massive "visibility" among the general public but Lisa Nandy is the one most like to get a "who?" response from people which is likely to be something that harms her chances of winning an election.

That and the fact that all the opposition/media will need to do is say "BUT HER DAD IS A MARXIST!!! SHE'LL BE WORSE THAN COMRADE CORBYN!!!"

True it doesn't necessarily matter now, but there needs to be a game plan for growing exposure quickly. And yes Corbyn is very well known now, but not really in the most positive way, I think it's very easy to see how Nandy could be backed into the same corner.

I don’t think it matters who the Labour leader is in that respect. They will all be smeared and accused of communism, unless they stick Tony Blair back in charge.

Agreed, the big challenge for the leader and party is to come up with an effective mechanism to combat the media and where possible actually control the story about what they are intending for the country.

That is going to be bloody hard, but with a bit of luck the next few years are going to hit people hard and they just might be a bit more receptive to Labour's plans and a bit more capable of seeing through the bullshit.

Because people treat politics in the same way as football teams. Your player could literally stomp on another players head while shouting “die die die!” and you’ll say “it was an accident and he barely touched him!”.

It’s the same with Leavers. For a long time they’ve been telling us we don’t need the rest of the world and that we should buy British, but I bet very few will speak out about things like this:
