I'd say there was next to zero chance of Patel.

Sunak will be popular amongst MPs. I'm not convinced the Tory membership will go for an Asian leader.

I'd prefer Sunak over any of the others if that's the only choice.

Really? He is mainly the reason COVID has been a disaster for us.

The only choice from an awful bunch though.

Unless you want Lord snooty or Cruella Patel.

Sophie's choice but I think I'd rather Gove than Sunak.

Boris is just so utterly lucky with distracting news. I imagine the birth of his latest sprog will buy him time now until the fuss dies down.

I can see it being Sunak. I think they will calculate an ability to disregard the more overtly racist elements of their party and voter base.

Unfortunately, he would instantly rejuvenate their (dramatically-false) image of sensible intelligence. Regardless of some of the shite he has been part of, it's clear he is no mug and he is highly capable in terms of traditional presentation/statesmanship.

Zero chance of it being Patel. Can't see it being Raab or Truss and I get the impression Gove is a busted flush.

There's probably too many coke dealers skeletons in Gove's in closet for Gove to seriously make a bid

Whatever Johnson is, he's not actually straight up stupid.

It'll be Sunak or Hunt.
