I watched with my mouth open this morning as Buckland stated he would resign if the law was broken, and I quote, "in a way I find unacceptable". Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool. So apparently he is now arbiter of what laws apply and which don't. It's like we're living in a tinpot dictatorship.

It's actually quite difficult and changes on what you're counting. English might be first if you are counting total number of fluent speakers not the total number of people whose first language is English. Also if you count just spoken language and not written I think Hindi is the second after Mandarin with Spanish third.

It seems to be mostly Starmer fans complaining that people are tweeting #starmerout while tweeting #starmerout although I probably missed the start.

There seems to be a bunch of people agreeing with the tag mostly over Stamer being complicit in getting kids back to school but some calling him a Blairite champagne socialist.

Yeah he’s basically doing everything utterly wrong and it’s absolutely not the right thing like what St. Jeremy would be doing. It’s as tiresome as it is predictable

It's perfectly valid to criticise any political leader's actions and policies at any point. To suggest otherwise is to lionise them and view the leadership position they hold as being the single most important aspect of a political party and potential future government, which is a criticism doggedly held against Momentum and the like.

There's criticism and then there's calling for the opposition leader to stand down.
