It's utterly strawberry floating bonkers but I guess it plays well to the Britannia Rules the Waves bunch. At least the people lining up at food banks will be able to bask in the glory of being a 3rd rate former super power whilst waiting for their handout.

This is a great opportunity to solve both issues. Just press gang staving families into the navy.

£300m support package for sport and over half of it goes to Rugby Union and horse racing? What the strawberry float?!

Haven't the Tories got all sorts of connections into the world of horse racing? That probably explains that one. Not sure why Rugby Union gets £135m though?

Nothing says 'Posh Tory Bastard' to me quite like anyone who likes or is involved in rugby. Well, other than horse racing, if you exclude the people you find muttering to themselves all day inside high street bookies.

And the mostly northern Rugby League gets grand amounts of strawberry float all? I wonder why that might be case.

£28m for football? Hopefully that's for grass roots and minor leagues.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Hope everyone is sitting down because it turns out Priti Patel broke the rules of ministerial behaviour with her bullying.

Please do make sure you're sitting down as you hear the news that this report has been on Boris Johnson's desk for months and he's tried to bury it.

I love that article, it gives the distinct impression that Bradley watched Idiocracy right before he wrote his blog post. What a twat.

I think people are being too harsh on her. It is extremely easy to accidentally bully all of your staff.

When I asked "why are you hitting yourself?" please believe me that this was meant purely as a sincere question.

She would happily deport her own parents. It's not a shock she's a banana split to people that work for/around her.

Priti by name, ugly by nature. Why would anyone expect her to behave any other way? She's demonstrated a complete lack of scruples in every other part of her career thus far.
