Hoping for a successful indi ref 2 and I would go Scotland.

Ye boi, come join the sunny* Scottish uplands

If we manage to get a second independence vote tabled I’ll be flying home for a few months to help campaign for it. Was fairly on the fence the first time round but the last couple of years has shown it as a very logical position from my perspective. On the current Bojo path I’ll be very surprised if we aren’t independent by the end of 2021.

Oof, that's a big blow for the indyref2 campaign.

As painful as it sounds, I actually think the UK being out of the EU makes Scotland being independent less feasible, because assuming Scotland would want to join the EU, as we have all learnt it would require a hard border between England and Scotland. Can you really imagine that? The East Coast mainline would require border checks.

I can apply for Irish citizenship. Otherwise I'll see if any of the numerous attractive Europeans I know will pitymarry me. I also know attractive Americans who may take pity on me, but fuuuuuuck that

He moved to Scotland just after the “once in a generation” vote because Scotland was only guaranteed to stay in the EU if they stayed in the UK.

I don't really care either way, but if the unionists want to keep Scotland they had better do so by convincing Scottish people that it's a good idea. So long as the SNP keep getting voted in there they have a democratic mandate to keep holding referendums. If the Conservatives cared then the recent polling might give them reason to pause and reconsider their current policy.

I’m from Worksop and will probably be moving back, I currently live in Rufford it’s about 20 minutes away, I have never lived in Scotland but I am a passionate unionist

Didn't realise there was much call for canvassing against Scottish independence in Rufford. You live and learn.

We're overdue a recession, no-deal Brexit basically makes it inevitable.
