That'd be about 65 billion pounds by my rough estimate. I'm really worried that he'll somehow get away with it. Either by winning an election and just changing the law or getting the police and army to fall in behind him. It'll probably be a far less interesting outcome than both those options though.

If he actually goes through with it then of course he will. You don't just imprison a Prime Minister.
You think this can last? There's a storm coming, Mr. Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

You can get away with killing 100,000 Iraqis, but it remains to be seen if you can get away with ignoring British law.
I was thinking that myself, the current polls have Tories ahead but it could still result in fewer seats considering the places they're probably going to lose in the next election.
That's good news and without wanting to jinx it, I can't see the Brexit Party getting those 35 seats either to break even. Especially when TBP would have to have a manifesto of some sort beyond just "no deal Brexit".

The Brexit Party shouldn’t be allowed to stand for Parliament with their current set up. They are basically just a company, there’s no democracy in the party at all.

But if they’re going to take Tory votes....
They won't, they'll come to an election pact with Johnson and take those northern seats that are close between Labour and the Tories (my constituency of Broxtowe for example). Labour will get shafted in non-metropolitan northern seats as this is purely going to be fought on Brexit.
