Just seen that Ann Widdecombe EU parliament thing. God, someone needs to sedate her, take her to an old folks home, and never let her leave.

I saw she was trending and was genuinely sad she wasn’t dead.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock confidently states that we should not be flying less (an example given is London to Aberdeen) despite the climate crisis:

Isn't our economy more important than the planet we live on?

Seriously I don't actually see how we're going to be able to tackle global warming. It just seems like people agree it's bad but carry on their lives as normal. A lot of countries seem to have elected people who are going to on balance actually make climate change worse.

A lot of people don't seem to think it's really a problem even when their country is on fire.

It’ll only change when the rich and powerful start feeling the effects. If Trump’s golf course ends up underwater for instance.

The trouble is the rich and powerful can avoid the worst of the effects for a very very long time. So they will do nothing other than protecting their profits.

Just sit back and enjoy the warm weather. No point worrying about it.

If this is global warming then bring it on.

Sarcasm? She said Scotland should be dealt with the same way Spain did Catalonia.

I see RLB is now polling top in weighted Lab survey, they’re strawberry floated if she gets top spot. 10 more years of BJ :toot: :fp:

But it's all a conspiracy by climate change scientists, and not the energy industry protecting their profits.

We should seize the vile Scottish separatists and lock them in the Tower of London for treason! How dare they try and leave a long-standing union by holding a referendum, who do they think they are?!

Scottish? :simper:

Just kidding. I felt like it would be funny to answer a rhetorical question for some reason. Just because the answer is really so simple. I have never met a Scot who actually prefers England.

That Question Time clip doing the rounds of the strawberry floater from Lewis denying racism exists and calling it 'boring' how it keeps coming up. :dread:

Fiona Bruce then citing Priti Patel's comments saying the press attacks on Meghan aren't racist, before adding "I'm not making a judgement either way"

Currently front and centre under Must See on the BBC News website. Love a clash, don't they? Good to have nice, balanced debate about whether the structural racism that exists actually exists. :simper:

Yep.

It's like they won't call liars liars "to let people make their own judgement".

Bullshit cowardice that don't want to affect the scum members of their audience with reality.

I’ve not watched it, but from what I gather he was very offended at the idea of white privilege.

The son of an actor, who went to one of the top private schools is offended that his life might be described as one of privilege?

Wanker.

Just went to watch it, and had to stop as soon as he pulled the reverse racism card.
