strawberry floating disgusting to see the Tories already trotting this out as their victory as opposed to a problem they caused, knowingly, refused to fix then once again waited until public pressure built up to do any strawberry floating thing at all about.

God, these despicable banana splits.

(great that it's seemingly sorted though)

I look forward to Hancock saying how great it is that the situation has been resolved.

That's what he was trying to say in that Good Morning interview wasn't it? Claiming credit despite voting against any free meals at all.

Yep.

He was desperately trying to avoid saying he regretted voting against free meals. I guess he's actually being sort of honest there, there's no way that prick regrets voting against it...

That interview is utterly ridiculous, as we've come to expect from that absurd man.

It works for right wingers, though. Don't back down! No surrender!

Holy gooseberry fool Matt Hancock is a banana split and I never thought Piers Morgan would be the person to hold him to account.

He definitely doesn't and that's the only reason he wouldn't answer. If he didn't think no I don't regret it he would've said yes to gain brownie points.

Is anyone actually buying this as a Tory victory when they've had to backtrack on it multiple times, reversing their initial decision, in light of public pressure?

The reality is, this is a victory for everyone except the Tories.

That's what he said, it's wonderful that this policy is now in place.

It's a typical Tory tactic. Apparently the NHS is Tory now because the original report was commissioned by a Tory government, even if the guy who wrote it wasn't a Tory and the Tory party were horrified by the report and voted against the organisation.

It's the same with Trump, we never supported him and if you look at the glowing words we said about him, I think you'll find they were constructed in such a way to give us an easy out.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Wait. The £30 is for 2 weeks?

Are they saying the food they sent was meant to cover 2 weeks?

Yes.

It's not clear if the £15 voucher is weekly or fortnightly.

Yeah Tories are evil and millions of people are idiots, this will absolutely be spun (and believed) as a Tory victory rather than a massive cock up.

Piers is brilliant when he has the right person in his sights. He is such a horrible person that he doesn't care about the feelings/reputation/embarrassment of the guest and just goes for blood. No idea why the government keep agreeing to interviews with Kay Burley or Piers unless hancock gets off on the public humiliation.

The tactics the interviewers use are so basic that it's worrying someone on charge of the NHS can't see the set up.

Stage 1 - ask them to agree X is bad

Stage 2 - ask them why they have voted for X

Stage 3 - so you were wrong to vote for X

Stage 4 - mock

Wish my image sig would work
