Can only guess the owner is a Liverpool fan, as a sign of respect it should have all been replaced with pics of Captain Tom for Poppymas though.

Didn't they have a 90's hit with Let Me Be Your Fantasy?

No, but they did get to number 6 with Baby I Want Your Love Thing

If this once-great country had any balls it would take some real action. Could be as simple as any Muslims spotted in November are shot on sight, or anyone found without wearing poppy has their fingernails removed, or whatever. But I guess you're not allowed to speak common sense like that anymore

These days you can be arrested and thrown in prison just for walking past a lamp post poppy and not observing a minutes silence.

Just prison? Pffft, the noose will be ready for that offence.

I genuinely wonder how we got here; did people do this themselves with DIY options enough for someone to spot a market (and I strongly doubt if much/any of the sales of such garbage has gone to a good cause) or someone decided this should be a thing to market to the SPORT ARE TROPS demographic as a filler "holiday" between Halloween and Christmas.

I can't stand the way something like this gets taken over by a certain group of people, then all the meaning gets drained out of it and replaced with their shite forever more. I'd have always worn a poppy years ago, no question of not doing it, but now I'd be wary of people thinking I'm one of these lunatics so I just put money in the collection pot but don't take the poppy.

It's like the union flag, in the 90s ( ) we had things like this which were cool as strawberry float (well to me anyway):

If someone appeared with a union flag guitar like that now though, I'd assume they're some flag shagging racist banana split. Any split I see with a union flag ANYTHING now just makes me assume they're some BOOTIFUL BRITISH twat.
