Yeahh. Best way I see it is to suggest nominees, then make a new poll for each category from there?

And will there be any specific criteria for each category to be considered as a nominee?

E.g. a minimum number of suggestions from other forumites? will best/worst meme need to have had existed for a certain length of time? along those lines, best newcomer a "join-date" rule?

Just throwing out some ideas to be considered.

As long as the join up date is the date i joined, i'm fine with that

Not polls. They're exploitable.

Once the short list has been determined (from initial votes) everyone should PM JK with their final votes. One vote per category this time. Or something like that.

That's a good idea but I think we should all PM our votes to JK because polls are exploitable.

To clear up nomination proceedings...

I'll be asking for a number of nominations for each category (three to five, I have yet to decide) from each person to be PM'd to me. I'll then count them up and produce a final shortlist of nominees for each award, at which point I'll ask for people to vote again (via PM) who they think should win.

Although we won't be doing nominations until later this week or early next week, have a think about who you might like to nominate, and which forum events you've enjoyed the most.
