Can't say for sure, but i might still have my old Star Wars VHS tapes too, as in the digitally remastered set released around 1994/5.

I owned the standard versions, as at that time, widescreen meant the picture on a 14 inch TV was nothing but a tiny letterbox.

The special editions were 1997, there was a Walkers tazo tie in at the same time. I've still got the binder in the loft somewhere with all of them.

Mine were just basic remasters without all the extras, so Han really did shoot first.

My first DVD player was one of these, it was bought in 2000, was unbelievably clunky, but lasted ages.

I've still got mine, slightly different set but it's got that layout, might have been branded slightly differently.

Edit: just looked in the loft

The worst bit was when you flicked the teeny tiny ball too hard and it went flying round the room.

Btw, 4 reds against 6 blues? Hmmmm

Did anyone else have those little 2x4cm flexible magnets that I think got given away by Blue Peter to try and help recycle tins?

Also (these were actually my sisters' but I remember them):

I have vivid memories of trying to work out how to fold the bloody thing back up into its van shape. Never did figure that one out. :slol:

Nice, as well as the F1 cars, i also had the police car, and a le mans porsche 962 with headlights which actually worked.

Speaking of F1 also, i fondly remember my matchbox mini F1's...

I also have the full set of these as mum & dad collected them in the 80's.

I still have that set along with a few others, not sure if all the bits are there though, not sure I want to try building it to find it’s missing some bits.

I had the exact same thing! WTF it was dead easy to put back together! You put up the long sides first and then clipped the short sides into them and finally pushed the roof down.

I remember I didn't actually have micro machine cars for it though, just the normal matchbox sized ones so nothing ever fit, but it was still loads of fun to play with.

Tomy racing, Super Cup Football, Micro Machines... I recall getting all of those for my younger brother. The racing set was a Nigel Mansell edition and Super Cup was great fun (albeit very noisy and it absolutely ate batteries  ).
