Time goes too quick.
Weeks fly by when you hit 40 and it goes quicker exponentially.

Sadly this is most likely to be the case for all of us.

In fact, it's doubtful there will be another major royal event of any kind for many years (the next one will be probably when Prince George gets married, or when William becomes King).

This potential lack of new commemorative mugs makes me sad.

I agree about "strawberry float cancer" in general. I just wish we didn't have to have wall to wall coverage over one man.

I think it goes without saying that nobody actually wishes cancer on anybody else.

Still, I'm seeing people say things like "cancer is the great leveller, no matter how much money you have", like Charles is going to have to wait months for treatment before being sat on a normal ward picking up all those lovely superbugs.

He'll be fine.

My mother however, being in remission from bowel cancer (lost her lower colon), will definitely say something about public people getting public cancer. gooseberry fool happens, ask her of all people. I didn't even know for 6 months.

My neighbours wife died today at 11:45 from Cancer.

I am so upset and gutted for them. They were meant to retire this year and move to greece.

Like to think we are a well adjusted forum able to accept all manners of people. No point trying to show universal tolerance if you then display asshole behaviours towards certain groups of people.

+1 on the strawberry float cancer front, get it in the bin.

Hope King Chaz makes a full recovery.
